On the occasion of Accountable Networks, second chapter of Manifesta 12 Public Programme (28-30 September, Teatro Garibaldi di Palermo), Manifesta 12 Education Hub will be in piazza Magione, on 29 September, from 10 am to 3.00 pm, with a workshop realised in collaboration with Enel Energia.
The workshop takes inspiration from the interdisciplinary artistic practice of Tomás Saraceno, whose research seeks to devise new modes of sensitivity, reactivating a common imaginary towards achieving an ethical collaboration with the atmosphere and the environment.
During the workshop, participants will build a prototype of Museo Aero Solar, fossil-free and lighter-than-air flying object.
The prototype realised by workshop participants will be tested and launched from 5.00 to 7.00 pm in piazza Magione. The workshop is free and open to everyone but registration is required, and available here.
We ask participants to bring plastic bags, film or other light plastic material that they will use to build their fossil free flying prototype.
