Weekly Workshops at the Teatro Garibaldi di Palermo:

Every Thursday (starting from 5 July 2018) children from 5 to 10 years of age are invited to take part in a creative workshop at Teatro Garibaldi, Manifesta 12 Headquarter, main venue of Manifesta 12 Public and Film Programme, and location of the ticket office.

Weekly Workshops relate to one of the artistic works of Manifesta 12 and let participants experience the artistic approaches through a hands-on laboratory. The workshops take place every Thursday afternoon from 4.30 to 6.30 pm by reservation and include a visit to the respective artwork together with children and parents.
Registration is required and can be made online here or by calling +39 335 87 99 834.

On Thursday, 19 July 2018, the workshop will be related to the work, Connected by Air, by Manifesta 12 Participant Richard Vijgen, on view at Palazzo Ajutamicristo. To get into the artistic practice of Richard Vijgen, the kids will observe the sky together with Manifesta 12 Gardeners and register visible and invisible movements. The workshop takes place at Teatro Garibaldi di Palermo and includes a visit to Palazzo Ajutamicristo. Registration is required and can be made online here.

All activities of the Weekly Workshops are free of charge, since they are included in the Family Local Season Pass (20 €, valid for two adults and a maximum of three children up to the age of 17, for the whole season) as well as in the Family-1-Day Ticket (30 €, valid for 2 adults and a maximum of 3 children up to the age of 17). The ticket can be purchased at Teatro Garibaldi di Palermo before the workshop or online here.
